Frequently asked questions

Q. Need help with a problem?

If your question relates to an article we published, drop it in that post's comments. If it's specific to your own site or account, skip the comments and use our Contact form instead — it keeps personal details off a public page.

Q. Your comment didn't appear?

Give it one business day. If it still hasn't shown up and you're confident it followed this policy, reach out through the Contact form and we'll look into it.

The rulebook

Eight rules, no exceptions

01

Use a real name

IDENTITY

Your name field is for a name or nickname — not a keyword. Entries like "Investment Company" or similar get flagged as spam and removed automatically.

02

A valid email is required

CONTACT

We ask for an email to comment, but it's never published or shared. Addresses that look spam‑generated are filtered out before they ever reach a human.

03

English, and keep it civil

LANGUAGE

This blog runs in English, so comments should too. We're a family‑friendly community — offensive, rude, or inappropriate language gets edited or removed by our editorial team.

04

Add something to the conversation

RELEVANCE

Comments that go off on a tangent, derail the discussion, or bring nothing new may be edited, moved, or deleted. Anything that reads as spam is removed on sight.

05

Two links, maximum

LINKS

Resources are welcome, but more than two links in one comment sends it to manual review. Signing off with a backlink to your own site is not allowed and will be stripped.

06

No personal attacks

CONDUCT

Challenge the argument, not the person. Attacking the author or another commenter — instead of the point they made — can get your access to the blog restricted.

07

Editorial has final say

ENFORCEMENT

Our editorial staff can edit, delete, move, or mark any comment as spam, and can block an individual, a group, or an entire discussion from further commenting.

08

You own what you post

LIABILITY

Every comment is the commenter's own responsibility, not ours. By posting, you agree to hold LixWe and its team harmless from any consequences your comment causes.

Repeat violations aren't tolerated. Continued abuse of this policy leads to a permanent ban of the IP address, domain, and email involved — no warnings after the first strike.

Still have a question about this policy?

Reach the LixWe team directly and we'll get back to you.
