What Is Football Battle (FBL)?

Football Battle (US: soccer) is a play-to-earn game with innovative Gameplay combining both Strategy and Action gameplay. The Game Developer is inspired from Axie Infinity’s winning play-to-earn strategy and focuses on making better, more fun battle gameplay with similar play-to-earn economics. The game will be launched on BNB Chain and then Solana as soon as we are ready to create a multi-chain gaming environment.

With Football Battle Coin, you can collect players, build your own team, compete in Saga mode and also online mode (Friendly Game, Heads up Match to win Tokens and also Tournament). Each player will be your own NFT asset that you can grow its stat via practice. You can also breed new players as Youth Players and add them to your own team. With FBL Marketplace, you can trade your players with other users easily.

The Football Battle game engine blends aspects of strategies, skills, and plan ahead thinking of users to compete and win, creating a thrilling and competitive turn-based football card game. Your goal is to take out your opponent’s Defender and Goalkeeper and score. Each game can have different scoring settings so a quick adapt kind of player with quick thinking can ace the game.

Users build their own team with many different players from Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfield and Forward, set up their own line up and compete. Users can participate in a variety of game modes with variable rewards. Existing Legendary Players can be combined to create Young Players. Each player with different stats will be a unique tradable NFT. As a game maker, they aim to give users a fun game, good play-to-earn mechanism and also great future expansions in the roadmap.

Players / Characters

A player is a digital NFT character that users can use to battle, train, trade, and make new Youth players.

Each player has different position traits which determine their role in match. These positions are Goalkeeper (GK), Defender (DF), Midfield (MF) and Forward (FW)

Kick, Pass, Defense, and Stamina are the four stats that each player has.

Kick: The damage when your player kicks the ball to your opponent and drain opponent’s defense stats or stamina

Pass: When you choose to pass the ball to your opponent, the pass stats from the passer will be added to the strength of the ball to your pass receiver.

Defense: Ability to stop kicks (shots) from your opponent.

Stamina: The amount of damage your player can endure before being knocked unconscious.

Gamemode

PvC – Saga Mode

Discover many different levels from varieties of computer-controlled teams, when you win, you advance to a higher rank opponents. Each winning match will get you Rewards to further improve your current players and Gameplay.

PvP – Friendly Match

Users can enter Exhibition Mode to play casual Friendly PvP Match with other online users or bots. This is the simplest way to try and experience the fundamental Play-to-Earn function, this mode will provide a more relaxing, non-serious gaming experience where most users may practice, enjoy, and earn some prizes. Only teams with similar average overall ratings will be matched against each other via Football Battle’s matchmaking algorithm, ensuring a level playing field for all users.

PvP – Head to head

Users fight to reach the top of the ladder in Head to head mode. This mode is season-based and can be divided into many levels to accommodate teams of various ratings. Users must build and register their teams before the start of each match to be eligible to compete. During any match, these lineups will remain the same. Every planned league match requires team owners to choose which 4 or 5 Players will play before the game begins. Teams will be rated, rewarded, promoted, or relegated by winning or losing these Battles.

Technology

In March 2022, Football Battle will debut on BNB Chain, followed by Solana after its smart contract capability has shown to be mature enough for gaming. The core team had intended to launch on Ethereum, and BNB Chain and Solana were chosen for their speed, low costs, and vast user base because of difficulties with gas fees and gaming scalability.

BNB Chain will be the first platform to implement our core smart contracts, followed by Solana once it is fully functional. The Football Battle game server will act as a link between users on both chains, allowing them to freely compete in the game environment, even if they are on different chains.

We recognize that BNB Chain, Solana, and Ethereum each have their own set of advantages and disadvantages, and we’ve been looking into additional options in case a partial or full migration is required in the future to maintain Football Battle’s long-term viability.
