About Yummi Universe Coin

Yummi Universe Coin aims to bring a creature collection similar to Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon and Moshi Monsters to the realm of blockchain. They want to create an inspiring project that is accessible for everyone! A universe that encourages players to battle together, trade with each other and most of all, have fun. They have successfully released multiple collections of adorable mascot.

Yummi Universe Naru, and are actively working on developing a full-blown ecosystem which utilizes existing digital collectibles, as well as new collectibles designed specifically to be in upcoming blockchain game. This document outlines the current plans for Universe, while further details about game development will be disclosed in the upcoming Blue Paper in Q2. Current features are subject to change. More details will be revealed as progress is made.

Yummi Token – $Yummi

Along with a large and ever growing collection of digital collectibles representing in-game assets, a utility token will be issued on the Cardano blockchain serving as main currency. This will be available by various means such as airdrops, staking, P2E mechanics and more. The token will be used to power different features throughout the ecosystem.

Naru Staking

Naru digital collectibles from the 10K PFP and Seasonal 10K collections can be staked in The Village webapp powered by Cardano smart contracts, locking them away for a period of time, with a $Yummi token reward being sent at the end of the staking period. The amount of tokens you receive is proportional to the rarity of the item attributes of the staked collectible.

Game

We aim to create a card collection game with gameplay being a mix between Pokémon, Slay the Spire and Hearthstone, centered around different digital collectible cards and a Cardano native token. The game would see you customize your deck, battle against players or take on PvE adventure mode and make your Yummi stronger, as well as spend and earn $Yummi in different areas of the game.

How Many YUMMI Coins Are There in Circulation?

YUMMI token launched on May 10th, 2022 with 71.25m tokens airdropped. The total supply capped at 10 billion with an allocation of 11% for team, 1% for advisors, 80% for ecosystem, 3% for airdrops and seed, 5% for partnership and marketing fund. Tokens allocated to the team will be under a vesting schedule that will distribute 2% (22,000,000) each month over a period of 50 months. A total of 50m $YUMMI is allocated to NFT staking rewards each month. Circulation began with a 50m $YUMMI airdrop for S1 NFT holders May 10th 2022.

RoadMap

Phase 1 – Inception

The inception phase will see us build the beginning of our ecosystem and focus on securing funding to realize the project described in the Blue Paper.

An initial version of The Village will be made, functionality will first include staking of Naru for $Yummi, along with our first pack sale held in ADA, which will allow you to mint booster packs with the ability to open them at any given moment to receive a random selection of cards.

Phase 2 – Groundwork

Off to building, the groundwork phase will be about realizing the Blue Paper. It’ll end once the base version of the game has been made, a fully functional smart contract marketplace has been deployed and The Village has integrated $Yummi staking along with a governance system. This will lay the groundwork to build a self-sustaining ecosystem.

Phase 3 – Governance takeover

From here the future development will be decided through democratic governance – The community will be able to vote between a series of updates on the ecosystem. Verified holders will be able to propose update ideas, all of which would be put to a vote and decided on where to go next. This space is moving fast and we don’t want to commit to long term objectives that the community doesn’t truly want.

The first significant vote on the roadmap will be for a game update and a Village update. The winning vote for each will go into development and the other choices will have another chance at the next vote.

Side note on time estimate and wen? Until now, time estimates we have given have been vague. For example: Q1 2022 for Lite Paper, early Q2 2022 for Naru Staking. We gave these estimates since we were confident in our ability to fulfil them.

However, going forward this will sadly not always be the case, as we don’t want to throw estimates out there that we are not fully confident in. This is why for now there is no definitive timeline. We will keep updating the community (primarily on Discord and Twitter) on the progress being made and be more precise about when new features are expected to be released as we go.
